For many of us, the thought of running, swimming or cycling sound fine as individual activities. But to do all three as part of a triathlon is another story and yet that is what our Client Services Director Claire Palmer did for charity last weekend.
And what made Claire think about taking on this challenge? The prospect of being able to raise funds for two very worthwhile charities; The British Heart Foundation and Macmillan Cancer. Claire was admittedly a little nervous in the days leading up to the big event but hopeful that she would be able to complete it all in less than 90 minutes.
Everyone in the Broadbean office knows that Claire has a competitive streak in her and so it came as no surprise to hear she completed the triathlon in 77 minutes to be exact!
Here’s what Claire had to say when she brought her medal in to show the Broadbean team;
“The swim was horrific, with everyone trying to swim over each other, I loved the bike and suffered the run (ok..jog) BUT it was all worth it to raise over £600 (including gift aid) for two amazing charities. I might even do it again next year!”

Well done Claire!
