WOW…. What an event! We were overwhelmed with the support from both the guest speakers and the visitors at the first recruitment technology event, iRecruit Expo, part of the HR Tech Europe series.
This blog post feels a bit like a ‘thank you’ speech from the Oscars and in a way it is!

Firstly, the guys and girls at HRN Europe did an amazing job at coordinating the event. The speakers were simply the best in the industry – leading the way for the development of technology that will change the way recruit.
We also have to say a massive thank you to Chris Hoyt from PepsiCo, who opened the second day with a preview of our next generation of candidate sourcing technology, which we’ve been busy working on together.
Still in Beta, Chris displayed a number of dashboard images, illustrating how the PepsiCo recruitment team will soon be operating their recruitment strategy. The concept is intelligent recruiting; focusing on the vacancy and using data to enhance the candidate sourcing process, instead of simply recruiting in the same way we always have. Review the presentation Chris gave here.
To quote Kelly Robinson, our CEO “the potential to improve information and [the recruitment] processes is huge, but we’ve got some work to do to get there first.” The work we are doing now, we believe, will transform the recruitment industry.
The stand was very busy over the two days and we would like to say thank you to every visitor. I hope we were able to answer your questions and provide a view of how Broadbean can fit in your recruitment strategy. If you would like any further details or would like to see Broadbean in more detail, please get in touch with us.
We also made some new friends and we were able to catch up with old pals too! Special thanks to James Purvis from CERN, Alan Whitford of Abtech Partnership, Bill Boorman founder of #Tru, and bloggers @James_Mayes, @OscarMager & @Mobile_Dave.
I'm hoping to have lots more product development news at the next HR Tech event in October - see you there!
